IN LAK'ECH

When do we know if we are giving in the right way? When we feel fulfilled after giving, we know that we are giving from the heart and from the code of In Lak'ech. If we feel drained, we may be giving out of fear, lack of something, a sense of duty, ego, or a need to be accepted or liked. Don't forget that everything that moves around us comes to us the same way it was sent out. If you don't like what life sends you, pay attention to what you send into life. When we live and practice In Lak'ech, we will no longer be able to play victims or live in fear. We will discover that past programs are obsolete and that the future is a wonderful vision that we can create right now.

In the Mayan tradition there is a greeting In Lak'ech which means

I am another You - I am You and You are Me.

This greeting is a tribute to each other.

but also a moral code and a way of creating a positive reality for all of life.

In this way, we respect all that possesses life - we live and give from the heart.

Everything we give to others, we give to ourselves.

We do not give our energy to something that is separate from us.

We give it to another part of us.

It is a declaration of unity,

What kind of world and life do we want? We cannot wait for it to happen, but consciously co-create a new reality. Everything is up to us and within us. We are a part of each other and there is no room for competition and envy, but for sharing and connecting, without fear that there is not enough for everyone. Let's remember that only our inner transformation can lead us to wholeness, fulfillment, enlightenment and unification with the whole world in the new reality of Peace and Harmony. The changes that occur in our true being - will take place on all levels - physical, mental and spiritual, both on an individual level and on a collective level. The greatest transformation will occur when we understand the Universe as a process of eternal evolution of the consciousness of a being - a spirit that, on its way through matter, lives the experience of understanding the process and unity of everything that lives.
